From June 27–30, the Cerritos ministry held its Summer Bible Conference titled “The Gospel.” A record 58 people attended, including 13 first-timers—marking the largest turnout to date. Over the four days, participants heard seven messages, joined six Bible studies in ten groups, and experienced powerful times of prayer, praise, and fellowship.
On the first day, Silvia Garcia opened with a message on Romans 1:16–2:6, “The Wrath of God,” highlighting the reality of sin and the need for a Savior. That evening, Abraham Jeong’s message on Romans 3:21–31, “A Righteousness from God,” was shared, emphasizing justification through Jesus. The Kang family offered a special song, and three life testimonies were shared by Blessing, Davina, and George.
On day two, Abraham Jeong Jr.'s message on “The Resurrection” (1 Corinthians 15) reminded listeners of resurrection hope. Later that day, 11 people decided to give their lives to Christ and were baptized. After group games, Abraham Song preached on “Baptism of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2). Missionary Esther, Chi, Samuel, and Sophia shared their life testimonies.
On the third day, Debora Jeong preached on “The Wedding Banquet” (Matthew 22), followed by outdoor archery and a message from Abraham Song on “Signs of the End Times” (Luke 21). The evening ended with worship, testimonies, a campfire, and fellowship over s’mores and ramen. Then, they heard life testimonies from Abraham Jeong Jr., Karen, and Laylu.
The conference concluded with Missionary Abraham Kim’s message on “The Ten Virgins” (Matthew 25), urging everyone to be ready for Christ’s return. That evening, many came forward for the altar call, in repentance and prayer. The Holy Spirit moved powerfully, and students formed weekly groups to meet after the conference. By God’s grace, everything ran smoothly. Many testified that this was the best conference yet—leaving with joy, gratitude, and renewed faith.
