59 Representative Members, along with several staff and friends from all over the United States and Canada, gathered in the Chicago Center. Members came from Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Washington, Philadelphia, Lehigh, Springfield (IL), Lincoln Park, St. George, Scarborough, New Jersey, Indiana, St. Louis, Montreal, Hamilton, Chicago, IIT, West Loop and Tennessee. We thank God, who united us to pray for God’s church and the people of North America. We believe this meeting is more important than any political meetings, because we pray to Almighty God to intervene to save all people of the world and bless our church.
The N.A. Elders met Friday for dinner and fellowship and met for discussions with UBF Staff Saturday morning. The full Membership joined for lunch, and the meeting began at 1 p.m. After a welcome address by Luke H. (Vice President), Jim R. (President) delivered a message based on John 15:8, encouraging each Member and our church to live for the glory of God by bearing much fruit to the Lord. Then, seven new representative Members were introduced, each sharing heart-moving life testimonies. The Members then voted to adopt the proposed 2025 UBF North America budget and revisions to UBF Bylaws. After a break, we heard N.A. Department Reports—Education, World Mission, IT, Building, and External Relief. We heard the North American Coordinator’s report by Dr. Augustine S. and Pastor Ron Ward’s General Director report. Finally, we reviewed the 99 UBF N.A. Chapter Directors and treasurers and voted for their adoption. The meeting concluded with 2x2 prayer and dinner with fellowship at 6 p.m. Praise God, who unified us for his glorious work. God may use us to bless our church and all the people of North America and the entire world by loving one another and raising disciples of Christ, living for the glory of the Father by bearing much fruit to the Lord.
