DREAM
Seven years ago, when Abraham Park, the director of the New Heart UBF ministry, was struggling with his future direction, someone appeared in his dream, opened the Bible, and showed him the words, 'Feed my people.' He woke up in tears, aware of his own inability and weakness. But he accepted the will of God. He entered Central Theological Seminary to feed himself first. After the pandemic, he and Grace searched for farmland near St. Louis. By God’s grace, they purchased 32 acres of hillside property with two houses in Eureka, at the same price and in the same environment that Grace Park had seen in her dream nine years earlier.
VISION
People who come and go from the retreat house may find rest, strength, healing, and restoration through God.

DEDICATION CEREMONY
Brothers and sisters from Chicago (where the UBF HQ Education Department also held a two-day retreat after the dedication ceremony), and three UBF chapters, St. Louis, U-City, and New Heart UBF gathered to celebrate the completion of the retreat house. Pastor Ron Ward delivered a message on Jesus as the Living Stone, based on 1 Peter 2:4-5, emphasizing the mission of building a spiritual house with Jesus as its foundation. Abraham Park, the director of New Heart UBF, shared his testimony about his journey as a missionary since 2005 and the vision behind the retreat house. The Park family purchased 32 acres to create a space for spiritual growth and community. Their prayer is for the young generation to feed God’s people with the words of God, and for the retreat house to serve as a place of revival and restoration. Read the full story.
