(HQ–Women’s Ministry) 22 Sessions of “Low and Slow” Christ-Centered Learning & Corporate Prayer

The Women Encouraging Women track, "Let’s Pray," concluded after meeting weekly from March 3 to August 23, 2025, for a total of 22 sessions. Women from UBF ministries across four continents gathered to study and discuss Paul E. Miller’s book A Praying Church, and, most importantly, to pray together—both in small groups and altogether. Through the “low and slow” Christ-centered learning and corporate prayer, the Holy Spirit worked in our hearts, our personal lives, and in our ministries beyond what we could ask or imagine. All of this is to the praise of His glory (Ephesians 3:20–21).

LET’S PRAY! Does this sound familiar? Inspired by our own M. Sarah Barry who is known for saying “Let’s pray” at any moment and in the face of any challenge, we would like to encourage women of all ages to join together to simply pray. Each session will begin with a brief excerpt on prayer from the book “A Praying Church” by Paul E. Miller. Most of the session will be prayer in small groups. May we draw close to our Triune God who can do “far more than we can ask or imagine” (Eph 3:20) in our personal lives and in our UBF communities when we come together and pray.

The track will be overseen by three of our WEW team members and will begin on Saturday, March 8th, 8-9:30 am CST. If you want to reignite prayer in your personal life and ministry, we invite you to apply online at ubfinstitute.org (click on “Programs” then scroll down to “WEW Cohort.”).
